Who these lessons are for
Many older drivers in Kamloops come to us for one of three reasons: ICBC has asked them to take a re-examination road test, they have not driven much for a while and want their confidence back, or a family member has suggested a professional second opinion. All three are completely normal, and none of them require you to be a beginner.
You keep your own licence and your own car keys. A lesson is simply supervised practice with an instructor beside you who can point out habits that have drifted over the years and give you clear, practical corrections.
Preparing for an ICBC re-examination
If ICBC has asked you to complete a road test, the test follows the same standards as any other BC road test: observation, speed management, space management, steering, communication, and vehicle handling. We focus lessons on those categories and on the Kamloops areas and intersections examiners commonly use, so nothing on test day is a surprise.

Lessons at your pace
Senior lessons run on the same schedule and the same rates as our other lessons — from $65 CAD per hour — and you decide how many you take. Some students book a single assessment lesson, others book a handful in the weeks before a re-exam. There is no package you have to commit to.
We can start on quieter residential streets and build up to Columbia Street, Summit Drive, and highway-speed merging only when you are ready. Lessons can start from your home with our pickup option, so you do not need to drive across town to begin.
Using our vehicle for the test
If your own vehicle is not suitable for a road test, or you would simply rather use the car you have been practising in, our road-test vehicle rental is available for the appointment. Your instructor will make sure the car meets ICBC's requirements before you go.
