About Us
Welcome to Kami Driving School Ltd., Kamloops BC. We offer one of the most comprehensive instructional programs in town with the best prices! We specialize in teaching collision-free defensive driving techniques. We offer driving lessons in Kamloops and surrounding areas. We can pick you up from home for your driving lessons and then drop you off back at no additional charge. (*Conditions applied)
We provide training 7 days a week. Our car is automatic with dual control. We are licensed under the Motor Vehicle Act, bonded and professionally trained. We speak English, Hindi and Punjabi. We currently offer class 5 and 7, in car instruction.

As you might have read other reviews already, it is 100% true that Akshay is the calmest, smartest and kindest instructor that you could get. I called to book my son a driving lesson the day of his N. He was understanding and they spent and hour driving, and going over the important points to practice to pass for your N in a city (we were from a smaller town Princeton), he helped my son build confidence and ask questions about things he was sure about. The lesson was an hour and exactly what he needed to PASS! I can can’t thank-you enough you were wonderful. We highly recommend using them to make sure your child is on the right track!

I had a bit of a tough time with the road test in the past but my lessons with Kami Driving School allowed me to gain confidence in my driving ability and to develop all of the skills necessary to pass the test. The instructors are extremely patient, knowledgeable, and good company during the learning experience. Anyone who feels nervous to start driving or that they need a little more practice would really benefit from taking lessons through this school. Book your lesson with Kami Driving School using our lesson booking system! Choose the date of your lesson on the calendar below, then follow the prompts to send your request to our staff. Our staff will be in touch with you to confirm your lessons, discuss our rates and ensure all your questions are answered!
Note: If you are booking a multi-lesson package, you’ll only be able to select the first lesson date (Not applicable for Single/Warmup lesson). Further lesson dates will be confirmed/requested via email or phone by our staff once your package booking has been confirmed.

School Policy
Students must provide a valid BC Learners Driver’s License or Driver’s License, including foreign driver’s license before the first lesson. Students must always carry their license during training in every lesson (No Photocopy or picture in phone). NO License No lesson
Fees
- $68.25 per 1 hour lesson
- $252 for 2 lessons & use of car for the road test*
- $315 for 5 lessons package
- $682.5 for 10 lessons package
- $1,313 for 20 lessons package
- $131.25 Use of car for test
5% GST is included
- Each driving lesson is 60 minutes.
- Each driving lesson is 50 minutes of practice time plus 10 minutes to review your progress and book your next lesson.
Cancellation

If you wish to cancel or reschedule a driving lesson, we require 6 working hours notice otherwise a fee of $50 will be assessed. For cancellation or reschedule, please call at 778-471-0899 or email at [email protected].

If a student wishes to discontinue driver instruction, Kami Driving School (KDS) will refund the unused portion based on the hours completed in-car, minus a $50 administration fee. The package price is no longer in effect, therefore the full amount of each lesson will be subtracted from the package rate.
Passengers
We offer individual in-car training only. Only Student & Instructor will be in the vehicle during your lessons.
Road Test Vehicles
You may arrange to use one of our driver training vehicles* for your road test, for charge of $125 plus tax. You can include a 1 hour of warmup before the road test as well (charges extra). *(subject to availability).
Cancelling a Road Test
For cancelling road test appointment students are required to notify the school at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled road test appointment.
Payments
Payment must be made no later than the end of each driving lesson or road test session. Lesson package payments are always prepaid. There will be no refund for driving lessons or road test sessions that have taken place. If the student has pre-paid for driving lessons or a road test session, there will be no refund given in case of insufficient notice of cancellation (See Cancellations above). All packages valid for 1 year from the date of purchase.
