At Kami Driving School Ltd., our goal is simple: to help every student become a safe, confident, and responsible driver for life.
Since 2017, we have provided professional Class 5 and Class 7 driving instruction in Kamloops and surrounding areas. Our training focuses on defensive driving, practical road skills, and building confidence behind the wheel.

As you might have read other reviews already, it is 100% true that Akshay is the calmest, smartest and kindest instructor that you could get. For someone as sensitive as me, he explained everything really nicely. I would recommend him to everyone! If you want to ace your test, this should be your guy! Good value for money too!!!

December 28, 2020These guys are the best! My first lesson (with a different company) didn't go well and I lacked confidence. On my first lesson with kami driving school I had a massive boost of confidence thanks to Akshay. They are really nice and communicate well when your driving. June 7, 2022Just one mock drive with Akshay and i had my license in my hands. Not only driving knowledge but you also need confidence for the road test and you get both here as a bonus. Best part is, my car is manual which means high chances to get rejected, but he taught me to drive safe and smart. For multi-lesson packages, you’ll select the date for your first lesson when booking your package. Once your first lesson is confirmed, you can book your remaining lessons online yourself based on your availability.

School Policy
Students must provide a valid BC Learners Driver’s License or Driver’s License, including foreign driver’s license before the first lesson. Students must always carry their license during training in every lesson (No Photocopy or picture in phone). NO License No lesson
Fees
- $68.25 per 1 hour lesson
- $252 for 2 lessons & use of car for the road test*
- $315 for 5 lessons package
- $682.5 for 10 lessons package
- $1,313 for 20 lessons package
- $131.25 Use of car for test
5% GST is included
- Each driving lesson is 60 minutes.
- Each driving lesson is 50 minutes of practice time plus 10 minutes to review your progress and book your next lesson.
Cancellation

If you wish to cancel or reschedule a driving lesson, we require 6 working hours notice otherwise a fee of $50 will be assessed. For cancellation or reschedule, please call at 778-471-0899 or email at [email protected].

If a student wishes to discontinue driver instruction, Kami Driving School (KDS) will refund the unused portion based on the hours completed in-car, minus a $50 administration fee. The package price is no longer in effect, therefore the full amount of each lesson will be subtracted from the package rate.
Passengers
We offer individual in-car training only. Only Student & Instructor will be in the vehicle during your lessons.
Road Test Vehicles
You may arrange to use one of our driver training vehicles* for your road test, for charge of $125 plus tax. You can include a 1 hour of warmup before the road test as well (charges extra). *(subject to availability).
Cancelling a Road Test
For cancelling road test appointment students are required to notify the school at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled road test appointment.
Payments
Payment must be made no later than the end of each driving lesson or road test session. Lesson package payments are always prepaid. There will be no refund for driving lessons or road test sessions that have taken place. If the student has pre-paid for driving lessons or a road test session, there will be no refund given in case of insufficient notice of cancellation (See Cancellations above). All packages valid for 1 year from the date of purchase.
